No kidding, everyone that knows that we are leaving are in shock, mostly because I have been here for 9 years and just never saw it coming. Well I can say again, that "with God, nothing is impossible".
Okay, so it' just my interpretation of what happened:
Micah and I have been working on our business and it has been great, we have done a lot and it has been a great start. However, there has not been any profit and so we had decided to go back to work. Our lease is about over and so we decided that this would also be a good time to consider returning home. Micah and I prayed to see whether we should take this opportunity to go home or continue as planned and find other employment here and continue with our life here and continue to work with our contacts and team here with Kaleo Aloha Home Investments. Well, we prayed, made a list of pros and cons and the answer surprised us. I wanted to go home and Micah wanted to stay. So we continued to pray thinking that we would continue on here in Utah, then I had a dream about my mom and it was a push in the direction of returning home. If I had that dream any other time, it would have been just a dream, but it came during our intense questioning, pondering, and praying and it was the answer that it was time to come home.
With that push we acted and not much longer than a month later we will be leaving for home. I think it was within a week from receiving an answer from our Heavenly Father, we had found a great air fare from Los Angeles to Honolulu, had sold our truck, television and sectional and had made plans to drive to Cali with a stop in Vegas to meet with some family and a chance to go to church in Riverside where I served my mission. We will also see if we can go to Disneyland as well (Micah has never been). We have some more things to sell and if we don't, it will be given away or sent to DI.
So there you go, Micah and Teuila are Homeward Bound. We arrive at home on December 5th at about 9:00 pm. We are flying Hawaiian. To those at home, we will see you soon. For those in the 801, thank you for everything and making my 9 years so special and Micah's 2 great as well. We will miss you all, especially our family. Much Love and Aloha until we meet again.

WHAT'S GOING ON
yes, I know that I have not posted in forever....so I am going to just post a short update type of thing. Well we finally started our Real Estate Investing Business and just barely started a website/blog for that. I am hoping that I will be able to improve in my blogging on this site as I blog on the Kaleo Aloha Home Investments site. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
So, check out our blog for Kaleo Aloha Home Investments. If you know anyone selling a house or in search of a house, guide them to our blog. Until the next time.
Aloha, Teuila

Lake Powell
So the first weekend in June celebrated Josh's graduation from High School, PJ's mission call, Noah's graduation from 6th grade, Paul and Chris' Anniversary and Micah's birthday. So we went to to Lake Powell, a first time for many of us. I didn't take pictures like I should have and it would have been nice if I had the camera when we went on the boat but I don't think it would have survived.
Anyway the pictures I have does not give Lake Powell justice so it's best to check out lake powell images on google.
We had some comforts of home. Micah and I did steal the view though by setting up our brand new orange tent between the trailer and the view of the lake.
It was an extremely long drive but once we got there it was great and then the crazy long drive back. It was awesome.

Our Visit Home
We went home for a week. Micah's Grandpa, that he cared for has passed after a long wonderful life. I know I barely knew him, but I did get a sense of his personality and what I would call "spunky" attitude (reminds me of my grandma). I sat down a couple times to just shoot the breeze on my visits there. He was funny. One of my memories that I will always remember, is when I went into his room to show him my engagement ring that Micah had given to me earlier on that trip home. I asked him if he saw what I got from Micah....he asked what's thats for? I told him we ares getting married. The next words out of his mouth, I did not expect. What? Micah, he one cheapskate, him. I just laughed and said thats okay he's a good guy. Grandpa said yeah. You had to be there.
Grandpa we miss you. You are very much loved and I just want to thank you for blessing Micah and giving him the opportunity to care for you. Micah loves you very much. Thank you for all your words of advice, even to choose me.
While I was home I also got to attend my Auntie Joyce Vierra's funeral. The services were really nice and it was nice to see the extended family. Visited with my cousin's, 2nd cousins 3rd cousins, you get the picture. Singing our Family Song at that funeral was chicken skin. The number of descendants of Kaleohano has definitely grown.
On the day that we left, I also found out that one of my many nephew-cuz passed away. James Reuben La`akea Serrao. It made it a bit harder to leave, and I was not able to see him at the hospital. La`akea was such a free spirit, just as I would describe his dad, Alika. La'a kea's services will be this coming Friday 3-25-2011. I don't have any photos to include at this time, but I hope to add some later.
So rather than posting the photos separately I decided just to add the photos I have here. I still did not take photos like I wish I did.

HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS!
I know it's been awhile since I have posted anything, and I really don't have an excuse. I have been really busy and Micah too. I have been working like crazy and just trying to get comfortable with my job....I did not realize how much more I needed to learn to be part of this team, but I am slowly getting the hang of it. Despite the stress I get and the time I put in, I love my job and the people that I work with. Micah has started with his real estate business and he is trying to get everything organized, plus still working in the evenings.
I am glad that the chaos of the holidays have come to an end. The holidays were eventful although it seem that we did not get everywhere we planned, well maybe I planned. With all the running around it was nice to relax. Actually probably the highlight of my holidays was relaxing and taking the time to visit Temple Square to see the lights, feel the spirit, and of course freeze. We lucked out with great parking right in front of the Conference Center, and it was really nice with all the lights. We took some photos. It always seems that when we should take pictures we don't have our camera. Luckily we have pretty good cameras on our phones.
I think Micah was freezing here and just could not handle it any longer.
The Reflection Pool...If you look at it upside down, you can barely tell which way is right
Micah still being silly for the camera and then my favorite individual photos of us.
